Philippines is known as a Christian country. Why would others tend to follow the ways of other country if we could follow our own. If Divorce would be legalized here in the Philippines, the Philippines would lose its image as a Christian country because Christians put a really great value of marriage. And if it'll be legalized the parents or the couple are not the ones who would be greatly affected, it is their children or their child.
Marriage is Sacred, .Why should a person marry someone if he/ she would only break it. If a couple is facing a big problem or just an misunderstanding between husband and wife,, they could just fix it or find ways to solve the problem. The problem is, that people tend to be hopeless, they give up easily. They don't find ways to solve any problems. They just let things as they are and as a result, separation would be the solution. And the children would be greatly affected.
Just imagine letting your child grow without a father or a mother in short " a broken family". Imagine what would be their future without the guidance of their mother or father.
If you're gonna ask me about this matter I would strongly DISAGREE to legalized the divorce of marriage.
So if you're not yet ready to have a family or to be with someone, why would you marry him/her.
or better yet don't get married!! :-)
